August 31, 2024: Hunting Valley, OH 44022 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) soccer team edged the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), by a score of 1-0.
The Polar Bears now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a Federal bout on Tuesday, September 3. Jackson will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, University School moves to 4-1 on the year. The Preppers travel to St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Ignatius lost 4-2 in their recent non-league bout against St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ)
