The Deep Run Wildcats topped the host Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Wildcats face the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial game, on Tuesday, September 3. Deep Run will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA).

The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Brunswick Academy gained a win over Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
