In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hudson Tigers football squad scored a close 22-20 victory over the Constantine Falcons.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Hillsdale Hornets (Hillsdale, MI) in a Lenawee County match, on Friday, September 9. Hudson will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 35-28 non-league loss to Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI).

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Lawton (Lawton, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Lawton held off Decatur (Decatur, MI), 48-12, in a non-league match.
