The Rio Hondo Prep Kares topped the visiting Linfield Christian Lions football team by a final score of 28-10 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Rio Hondo Prep improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Kares travel to Boron (Boron, CA) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Boron won 38-8 in their recent non-league outing against Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA)

With the loss, Linfield Christian moves to 1-2 on the season. The Lions host Tahquitz (Hemet, CA) to confront the Titans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Tahquitz won 41-21 in their recent non-league outing against Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA)
