Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH), 20-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Hoover improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to GlenOak (Canton, OH) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 15. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1.

With the loss, Jackson drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Polar bears host Green (Uniontown, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a test on Thursday, September 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-1.
