New York High School Soccer - Sweet Home knocks off Iroquois
September 1, 2022: Amherst, NY 14228 Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY) in a ECIC II challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Sweet Home will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Chiefs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lackawanna for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 7. Iroquois will confront a Steelers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Steelers record now stands at 0-1.
