September 1, 2022: Gainesville, GA 30507 In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors softball team scored a close 9-8 win over the East Hall Vikings.
Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 6. Walnut Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 6-6 record after their 13-4 league loss to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA).
The Vikings (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the 4A Region 8 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Cedar Shoals tipped Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 4-3, in a league outing.
