New York High School Volleyball - Union Springs edged by Auburn
September 1, 2022: Union Springs, NY 13160 The Auburn Maroons held off the host Union Springs Wolves volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Maroons now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton for a SCA- Empire match on Wednesday, September 7. Auburn will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Marcellus (Marcellus, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Union Springs drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolves host Moravia (Moravia, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Section 4 Interscholastic match on Tuesday, September 6. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 0-0.
