Texas High School Football - Guyer can't get by Aledo

The Aledo Bearcats held off the host Guyer Wildcats football team by a count of 48-45 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Aledo upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Northwest (Justin, TX) to confront the Texans in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 outing on Friday, September 8. The Texans go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Northwest won 31-28 in their recent non-league outing against McKinney North (McKinney, TX)

With the loss, Guyer moves to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Lancaster lost 42-21 in their recent non-league outing against South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX)
