In Friday's non-league game, the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) football team got by the host Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA), by a score of 19-16.

The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Moon Area was tipped by Montour (McKees Rocks, PA), 35-21, in a non-league game.

The Black Hawks now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Bethel Park will battle a Vikings team coming off a 47-6 non-league win over St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
