The Boys Ranch Roughriders football team (Boys Ranch, TX), was knocked off 69-41 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX)

The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Shamrock knocked off West Texas (Stinnett, TX), 28-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Roughriders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Texas for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Boys Ranch will meet a Comanches team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 1-1.
