With the win, Connally upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cadets host C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX) to encounter the Yoemen in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Yoemen go into the outing with a record of 1-1. C.H. Yoe lost 41-20 in their recent non-league outing against Yoakum (Yoakum, TX)

With the loss, La Vega moves to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates host Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8.
