The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Scotties come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Union Area knocked off Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA), 34-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Greyhounds now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Frazier for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Monessen will meet a Commodores team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Mapletown (Greensboro, PA). The Commodores record now stands at 0-2.
