The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), observed East Union's football squad edge Ripon by a count of 28-21.

The Lancers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Enochs for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. East Union will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-8 non-league win over Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Calaveras Redhawks (San Andreas, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 8. Ripon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
