Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Verbena Red Devils (Verbena, AL), 50-26 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Fayetteville improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Ranburne (Ranburne, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 4 test on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Ranburne lost 49-21 in their recent non-league test against Wadley (Wadley, AL)

With the loss, Verbena drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Loachapoka (Loachapoka, AL) to confront the Indians in a 1A Region 4 test on Friday, September 8. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-0. Loachapoka won 14-12 in their recent non-league test against Beulah (Valley, AL)
