The Floyd County Buffaloes football team (Floyd, VA), was beaten 20-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA)

The Pioneers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

The Buffaloes now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Blacksburg for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Floyd County will meet a Bruins team coming off a 83-6 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.
