September 1, 2023: Spring Valley, IL The Riverdale Rams football team (Port Byron, IL), was ripped 46-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Hall/Putnam County Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL)
The Red Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm come into the Three Rivers - Mississippi challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Bureau Valley was ripped by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockridge for a Three Rivers - Rock challenge on Friday, September 8. Riverdale will meet a Rockets team coming off a 39-32 non-league win over Ridgeview/Lexington (Colfax, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.
