Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Harrison Central Huskies (Cadiz, OH), 22-20 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Malvern improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to confront the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-0. Tuscarawas Valley won 39-24 in their recent non-league test against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH)

The Huskies now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Union Local for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Harrison Central will battle a Jets team coming off a 32-25 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Jets record now stands at 3-0.
