In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Kemper County Wildcats football squad scored a big 45-6 victory over the Noxapater Tigers.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Newton Tigers (Newton, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. Kemper County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 48-6 non-league loss to Forest (Forest, MS).
