The Mexico Bulldogs football team (Mexico, MO), was ripped 49-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO)

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against California (California, MO). The Pintos come into the Tri-County challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, California trounced Fulton (Fulton, MO), 31-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Odessa for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Mexico will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-0 league win over Clinton (Clinton, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
