In Friday's non-league contest, the The First Academy Royals (Orlando, FL) volleyball squad nudged the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Royals battle the Olympia Titans (Orlando, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. The First Academy will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL).
