Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Royals battle the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) in a Wyoming Valley match, on Tuesday, September 5. Holy Redeemer will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

With the loss, Blue Ridge drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Valley View (Archbald, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Lackawanna match on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 0-0.
