September 1, 2023: Redding, CA 96001 The El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) volleyball overcame the host Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, El Capitan upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Gauchos travel to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 2. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Franklin won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Galena (Reno, NV)
The Wolves now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 2. Shasta will face a Miners squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Miners record now stands at 6-3.
