The Loara Saxons held off the host Garden Grove Argonauts volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Saxons now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Gabriel Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 6. Loara will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Glendale Adventist (Glendale, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

The Argonauts (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Magnolia was nudged by Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
