September 1, 2023: Fresno, CA 93710 The Hoover Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Sierra Chieftains to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now have a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanford for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Hoover will meet a Bullpups team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bullard (Fresno, CA). The Bullpups record now stands at 6-1.
The Chieftains (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Edison (Fresno, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Edison dropped by Bullard (Fresno, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
