The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Blair Oaks (Jefferson City, MO). The Falcons enter the Class 3 District 8 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Blair Oaks was knocked off by Sullivan (Sullivan, MO), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Bolivar Liberators (Bolivar, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 3. Smith-Cotton will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Liberators enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Strafford (Strafford, MO).
