The Lanier Longhorns volleyball team (Sugar Hill, GA), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA)

The Bulldogs (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders enter the AAAAAAA Region 6 challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, North Forsyth nipped North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 2. Lanier will attempt to move on its 9-16 season record. The enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
