The Portville Panthers football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Allegany-Limestone Gators to 6 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frewsburg for a Section 6 D battle on Thursday, September 8. Portville will play a Bears squad coming off a 53-0 league win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley (Cattaraugus, NY). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Gators play the Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY) in a Section 6 C - South battle, on Friday, September 9. Allegany-Limestone will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
