The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops football team (Zanesville, OH), was beaten 40-15 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH)

The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH). The Knights come into the Mid-State - Cardinal challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Fairfield Christian Academy was beaten by Eastern (Reedsville, OH), 21-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Bishops now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Bishop Rosecrans will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 30-9 non-league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-3.
