In Friday's non-league match, the host Borger Bulldogs football squad scored a good 26-14 victory over the River Road Wildcats.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. Borger will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tornadoes enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 41-14 non-league loss to Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX).

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record.
