California High School Football - Lancaster held off by Burroughs

September 2, 2022: Ridgecrest, CA 93555

Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA), 19-14 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Burroughs improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Burros host Bishop Union (Bishop, CA) to battle the Broncos in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 3-0. Bishop Union won 31-22 in their recent non-league test against Fernley (Fernley, NV)

With the loss, Lancaster drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Eastside (Lancaster, CA) to battle the Lions in a Golden test on Friday, September 16. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-1.
