North Carolina High School Football - Western Alamance sneaks past Eastern Guilford

The Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) football edged the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), 28-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 9. Western Alamance will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 37-20 non-league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC).

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams enter the 3A West Conference 46 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Northeast Guilford nudged Morehead (Eden, NC), 18-7, in a non-league bout.
