The Freeport Yellowjackets thwarted the host South Allegheny Gladiators football team by a count of 37-15 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Freeport upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to encounter the Quakers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Quakers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Quaker Valley lost 24-12 in their recent non-league outing against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA)
