Wakefield Bombers (Wakefield, KS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Herington Railroaders (Herington, KS), 40-16 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Wakefield improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Solomon (Solomon, KS) to confront the Gorillas in a Wheat State (8 Man) test on Friday, September 9. The Gorillas come into the test with a record of 1-0. Solomon won 48-0 in their recent league test against Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS)
