Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the host Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), 35-28 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nemaha Central improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunder host Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Royal Valley lost 26-19 in their recent non-league test against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS)

With the loss, Holton moves to 0-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to confront the Bluejays in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Bluejays go into the test with a record of 1-0. Sabetha won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)
