In Friday's non-league game, the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) football team knocked off the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), by a score of 42-23.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Martinsburg toppled Musselman (Inwood, WV), 61-20, in a league game.
