In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts football squad scored a good 35-27 victory over the Jordan Falcons.

In their next game, the Catamounts clash with the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a 4A East Conference 29 match, on Friday, September 16. Panther Creek will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 56-13 non-league win over Harnett Central (Angier, NC).

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Southeast Guilford ran past Dudley (Greensboro, NC), 23-7, in a non-league match.
