Pennsylvania High School Football - Kennedy Catholic held off by Union City

September 2, 2022: Union City, PA 16438

In Friday's non-league game, the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) football team tipped the visiting Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA), by a final score of 26-20.

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Knights come into the District 10 Region 2 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Eisenhower got by Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA), 27-14, in a non-league game.

The now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a District 10 Region 1 game on Friday, September 9. Kennedy Catholic will battle a Sailors team coming off a 35-15 league win over Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Sailors record now stands at 1-1.
