In Friday's non-league game, the Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS) football team knocked off the visiting Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), by a final score of 28-7.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Blue Devils come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Ashland was dropped by Mantachie (Mantachie, MS), 45-0, in a non-league game.
