September 2, 2022: Manson, IA 50563 The Northwest Webster Cougars football team (Manson, IA), was beaten 42-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA)
The Rebels (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Pocahontas achieved victory over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA), 30-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Okoboji for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Northwest Webster will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-2.
