The Peters Township Indians held off the host Seneca Valley Raiders football team by a count of 30-27 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Peters Township upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians host Trinity (Washington, PA) to confront the Hillers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 9. The Hillers go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Trinity won 34-12 in their recent non-league outing against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA)

With the loss, Seneca Valley moves to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders host Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA) to confront the Big Macs in a WPIAL AAAAAA Tri-County Five outing on Friday, September 9. The Big Macs go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Canon-McMillan lost 35-21 in their recent league outing against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)
