September 2, 2022: Commerce City, CO 80022 Adams City Eagles (Commerce City, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Manual Thunderbolts (Denver, CO), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Overland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Adams City will battle a Trailblazers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Denver South (Denver, CO). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Manual falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host The Academy (Westminster, CO) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Denver Metro challenge on Tuesday, September 6. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. The Academy lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO)
