In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Utica Chieftains volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Bronson Vikings.

The Chieftains (9-13) will now prepare for their battle against Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Ramblers come into the Macomb Area - White battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Fraser was edged by Berkley (Berkley, MI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
