Hawaii High School Football - Roosevelt drops to Nanakuli
September 2, 2023: Honolulu, HI 96822 In Saturday's non-league game, the Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI) football team knocked off the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Honolulu, HI), by a final score of 48-30.
The Golden Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Campbell (Ewa Beach, HI). The Sabers come into the OIA Open game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Campbell was dropped by Liberty (Henderson, NV), 20-14, in a non-league game.
The Rough Riders now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaiser for a OIA II game on Saturday, September 9. Roosevelt will battle a Cougars team coming off a 16-12 league win over Kalani (Honolulu, HI). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
