September 2, 2023: Evansville, IN 47630 Bloomington North Cougars (Bloomington, IN) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Evansville Christian Eagles (Evansville, IN), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots (Terre Haute, IN) in a Conference Indiana challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. Bloomington North will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to East Central (St. Leon, IN).
The Eagles now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Henderson County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Evansville Christian will confront a Colonels team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 3-4.
