September 2, 2023: Lisle, IL 60532 Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions face the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Lisle will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Coalers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL).
The Knights now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 5. Chicago Christian will face a Roadrunners team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-3.
