September 2, 2023: Mercersburg, PA 17236 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA) and the visiting St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD), saw Mercersburg Academy's soccer squad get by St. James by a count of 2-1.
The Blue Storm now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Martinsburg for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Mercersburg Academy will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-2 league Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, St. James drops to 0-2 on the season. The Saints travel to Catoctin (Thurmont, MD) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-1. Catoctin lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD)
