The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Northview Knights (Brazil, IN) and the host Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN), saw Northview's volleyball squad nip Barr-Reeve by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year. The Knights host Sullivan (Sullivan, IN) to play the Golden Arrows in a Western Indiana bout on Thursday, September 7. The Golden Arrows go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Sullivan won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN)

The Vikings now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Springs Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Barr-Reeve will play a Blackhawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 13-1.
