The Covenant Christian Cougars held off the visiting Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Country Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, September 12.
The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Fort Worth Christian held off Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
