September 2, 2023: Orange, CA 92869 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the visiting Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), saw El Modena's volleyball squad nip Woodbridge by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, El Modena upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Vanguards travel to Irvine (Irvine, CA) to play the Vaqueros in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 9-3.
The Warriors now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Sage Hill for a bout on Thursday, September 7.
